LUTSO stands for Levelling Up Through Sporting Opportunities and was created in 2023 by local businesswoman Gemma Clarke. Gemma is from a family of sports lovers and understands the positive impact sport has on children's physical and mental wellbeing. 

Unfortunately for many different reasons, not every child has the same opportunities to play the sport they love. Sometimes families do not have the financial freedom to support and pay for their children to access sports clubs. The monthly fees, uniform, equipment and competition costs of sports clubs can be too much for the parents of some children, which creates a social imbalance.

LUTSO has been created to support children with a passion to play sport and will fund their places within their chosen sports club.
